Automation Expo North 2026 is an important platform for companies looking to showcase their industrial technologies to a targeted audience.
For over two decades, Automation Expo, conceived in the year 2002, has been bringing the automation industry together in Mumbai. From a humble beginning at the inaugural edition, the show has grown into Asia’s largest industrial automation and robotics exhibition. In the year 2023, the organisers took the show to Chennai for its first regional edition, which once again proved to be highly successful, and then followed two more editions in 2025 and 2026, respectively. Now, in another pioneering step, Automation Expo is travelling to Delhi for the North edition, making the event truly pan Indian in terms of visitor convenience.
An important platform for exhibitors
Automation Expo North 2026 is also an important platform for companies looking to showcase their industrial technologies to a targeted audience.
Exhibitors can present their products, demonstrate their capabilities, connect with potential buyers, generate business enquiries, and strengthen their presence in the Northern Indian market. Startups and established technology providers alike can use the exhibition to introduce innovations and develop industry relationships.
For businesses supplying robotics, sensors, machine vision, industrial software, electrical automation, control systems, and smart manufacturing solutions, participation can create opportunities to engage directly with relevant decision-makers.
Opportunity for industry professionals
For manufacturers, factory owners, plant managers, engineers, system integrators, and procurement professionals, the exhibition offers an opportunity to explore solutions relevant to their operational requirements.
Visitors can discover emerging technologies, compare solutions from different suppliers, discuss specific production challenges, and establish valuable business connections. Whether a company wants to improve production speed, enhance quality inspection, reduce downtime, or introduce automation into existing processes, the exhibition can help identify potential technology partners.
The event also creates opportunities to understand how automation can support long-term business growth, workforce productivity, and manufacturing competitiveness.

Explore the latest industrial automation technologies
Industrial automation is transforming how businesses manufacture products, manage resources, and maintain quality. Automation Expo North 2026 will offer visitors an opportunity to explore technologies that support this evolution.
1. Robotics and Industrial Automation: Robotics is helping manufacturers improve precision, productivity, and operational consistency. From robotic arms and automated assembly systems to material handling and industrial robots, visitors can explore solutions designed to optimise manufacturing processes and reduce repetitive manual tasks.
2. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Vision: AI-powered systems and machine vision technologies are changing quality inspection, defect detection, predictive maintenance, and production monitoring. These innovations help businesses make data-driven decisions, improve product quality, and identify operational issues more efficiently.
3. IIoT and Smart Manufacturing: Connected industrial devices enable real-time monitoring, equipment communication, and improved visibility across production lines. IIoT solutions can help manufacturers track performance, identify inefficiencies, and build more connected and responsive production environments.
4. Process Control and Instrumentation: Reliable measurement, monitoring, and control are essential for modern industrial operations. Advanced sensors, instrumentation, controllers, and process automation systems help businesses improve accuracy, operational safety, and production efficiency.
A glorious legacy

“Since its inception in 2002, Automation Expo has grown from a modest showcase into a global-level forum that attracts over 700 exhibitors and thousands of professionals. It has become the heartbeat of India's automation ecosystem, bridging the gap between technology providers, end-users, startups, and academia. Today, it stands as a testament to India's engineering excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, and collaborative innovation. I am associated with the founder Dr M Arokiaswami right from the beginning of this exhibition from 2002, and have watched it grow into a world class event” said Dr B R Mehta, former Sr Vice President (Retired), Reliance Industries, and Chairman of the Board of Governors for Automation Expo North 2026. “Automation Expo North is yet another feather in this well decorated cap,” he added.
“Finding the right automation technology can be challenging when manufacturers are looking for solutions that improve productivity, reduce operational inefficiencies and prepare their factories for the future. With rapid developments in industrial automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, IIoT, machine vision and smart manufacturing, businesses need more than online research – they need opportunities to see technologies in action and connect directly with solution providers. This is where Automation Expo North 2026 comes in,” said Ms Jyothi Joseph, Project Director, IED Communications Ltd. “Automation Expo North 2026 will bring together technology providers, manufacturers, automation professionals, engineers, system integrators and industry decision-makers under one roof, for the benefit of industrial users in northern India,” she emphasized.
Scheduled for 9-11th December 2026 at Hall 5-G of Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the exhibition will provide a platform for discovering innovative technologies, connecting with industry experts, and exploring practical solutions for smarter and more efficient industrial operations.
An estimated 250 exhibitors are expected to participate in the 3-day exhibition that will be the meeting ground for thousands of industry decision-makers. Together, these exhibitors will showcase around 7,000+ products and solutions in 9,000+ sq.m of exhibition space. The organisers expect a turnout of 11,000+ visitors, offering a valuable environment for industry networking, technology discovery, and business development.
