The second edition of Automation ExpoSouth, held at the Chennai Trade Centre at Nandambakkam in Chennai, during March 6-8, 2025. The 3-day event concluded on a highly positive note with a grand Awards Ceremony, felicitating the winners of the best stalls across three categories. With just two editions, Automation ExpoSouth has cemented its position as a significant show bringing global automation majors the capital of Tamil Nadu, an industrial stronghold well known for its automotive, textiles and machine tools industries, and in recent years, also a growing base for consumer electronics, including mobile phones. Chennai is also well connected to other major industry clusters of Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, attracting end users, system integrators and consultants in large numbers.
The inauguration on March 6th was graced by the presence of distinguished Guest of Honour Mr Simon Matthieson, Vice President & GM, EMEA Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions, Electrical Sector, EATON. Present on the occasion were Members of the Steering Committee and Board of Governors for the event, and other dignitaries from the exhibiting companies, as well as special invitees from the automation industry.
Automation ExpoSouth had over 300 booths put up by 400+ companies and attracted over 20,000 unique visitors during the three days of the event. There was an amazing range of products and technologies on display to attract visitors not just from the southern States, but several also from the north. With focus on smart automation, industrial IoT, and AI-driven solutions, the event gathered good traction from discerning visitors to empower their enterprises to stay ahead in an evolving market by embracing cutting-edge innovations.
