Agilyx, founded in 2004 and headquartered in Tigard, Oregon, is a technology company pioneering chemical recycling of difficult-to-recycle plastics, focusing on polystyrene (PS) and PMMA. Its proprietary catalyst-free pyrolysis and depolymerization technologies, including Styrenyx™ and TruStyrenyx, convert plastic waste into virgin-quality monomers for new plastics, fuels, and naphtha, supporting a circular economy. Through its Cyclyx joint venture with ExxonMobil and LyondellBasell, Agilyx supplies custom-formulated feedstock for mechanical and advanced recycling. Plastyx, another venture, sources high-quality polymers for food-grade and technical packaging in Europe. With over 2,500 systems deployed globally and a new polystyrene recycling facility in Japan (3,000 tons/year capacity), Agilyx serves industries like packaging and consumer goods.
