Angsa Robotics GmbH, founded in 2019, is a Munich-based startup specializing in autonomous robots for waste collection on grass and gravel surfaces. Its flagship product, the Emu robot, uses AI and computer vision to detect and remove small trash items like cigarette butts and bottle caps, preserving grass and insects. The robot supports municipal park cleaning and post-event cleanup, offering a Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model for flexible, scalable waste management. Angsa has deployed Emu in five German cities, including Berlin, and collaborates with Germany’s largest municipal waste disposal company.
