Today, we still support customers with Cincinnati Robots, some of which have been in production over 30 years. In 1997 the owners, John Hudson and Nigel Richardson, who between them account for over 50 years’ experience in the robotic automation industry formed Geku UK. Our first robot partner, GeKu Automatisierungssysteme, was a German 3 axis robot and automation supplier and as a result, GeKu Automation was formed. The name GeKu comes from this first robot partner – a compilation derived from the names of German pioneers Thorsten Gerling and Uwe Kusse who designed and manufactured the GeKu cartesian robot, which is still commonly used in the plastics manufacturing industry.AerospaceMedicalFoundryPlasticsDiecastingAutomotiveAgricultural
