Nth Cycle, founded in 2017, is a critical metals refining company headquartered in Beverly, Massachusetts, with a commercial production facility in Fairfield, Ohio. The company has developed a patented electro-extraction technology, integrated into its modular Oyster system, which refines critical metals like nickel, cobalt, lithium, and manganese from end-of-life batteries, scrap metal, and mined ore. Unlike traditional refining methods, the Oyster system operates on-site at partner facilities, using electricity instead of fossil fuels, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 92% compared to conventional mining and recycling processes. Nth Cycle serves recyclers, manufacturers, and miners, producing high-purity metals for clean energy applications, including electric vehicles, renewable energy, and grid storage. The company is marking the first U.S. production of premium nickel-cobalt MHP.
