re:3D, founded in 2013, is a socially responsible company dedicated to breaking barriers in 3D printing by developing affordable, human-scale 3D printers like Gigabot and GigabotX. These industrial-grade printers enable entrepreneurs, educators, and manufacturers to create large objects from diverse materials, including recycled plastics. Through its Gigalab in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, in partnership with Engine-4 Foundation, re:3D offers unique tools to repurpose discarded materials, such as water bottles and manufacturing waste, into new items. The first generator-powered Gigalab is being outfitted for the Puerto Rican Science & Research Trust to process and 3D print with recycled materials.
