Recycleye, established in 2019, is a UK-based cleantech company headquartered in London, specializing in AI-powered robotic sorting solutions for waste management. Its flagship products include Recycleye Robotics and QuantiSort®, which use computer vision, deep learning, and hyperspectral imaging to sort recyclables like PET, PP, HDPE, aluminum, and cartons with up to 5% higher purity than traditional systems. Powered by WasteNet, a dataset of over 3 billion waste images, the technology achieves human-like accuracy, processing up to 33,000 items per 10-hour shift per robot. Recycleye’s solutions, retrofitted into material recovery facilities (MRFs), enhance sorting efficiency for household, WEEE, and construction waste, serving clients like FCC, Cireco Scotland, and HEYDT.
