Revalyu Recycling (India) Limited, formerly Polygenta Technologies Ltd., founded in 1981, is a leading chemical PET recycling company and a subsidiary of Germany-based revalyu Resources GmbH, acquired by Heraeus Group in May 2022. Utilizing a patented low-temperature glycolysis process, Revalyu recycles over 20 million post-consumer PET bottles daily into high-quality rPET chips, filament yarn, and sustainable PET polymers (esters). These products, equivalent to virgin-grade PET, are used in textiles, packaging, films, and automotive accessories, serving over 60 customers in 15 countries, including high-end sports and fashion brands. Revalyu’s process uses 75% less water and 91% less energy than conventional PET production, saving 22,000 kg of CO2 daily.
