Strategic Relations - Specialist
Scope:
Responsible to drive the regional MTS, by developing activities and action plans for the
sales cluster aimed at growing our overall Strategic Relations businesses.
This will be achieved by increasing our market share in the turnkey project areas,
development of non-tooled machine strategy for out MTM partners, agents and
distributors. It also includes sales growth with SAM and GAM customers as well as
stablishing the right way of working in developing MTS /SGAM Business through
Identified MTS projects.
Key Performance areas:
Managing all strategic partnerships with end customers when it comes to projects, machine tool builders and agents, channel partners and other business partners related to MTS sales (e.g. digital partners)
Developing, implementing and executing global business strategies and common ways for Strategic & Global Account Management (MTMs), MTS Sales and Tooling up of No of Machines.
Developing, implementing and executing global customer strategies with selected strategic local business partners
Leading key business activities with selected strategic/local MTMs/MTAs /partners, in close collaboration with colleagues from the whole Sandvik Coromant organization, with the aim to achieve our overall business targets
Facilitation of the service and collaboration with all Strategic Accounts within the Sales Cluster India when it comes to MTS Business.
Driving the regional business activities with Global MTM Accounts, Local Key MTMs Accounts and MTS residing within the Sales Cluster India.
Supporting the continuous development of the Sales Cluster India by prioritizing SGAM, Direct Customers and Channel function when it comes to MTS Sales and MTS Projects
Assures visits as necessary to customers for Identified MTMs / MTAs Projects to promote Coromant strategy and new Coromant products, also responsible to give technical support and support regarding marketing activities of MTMs/MTAs (Open-house, Training, Coro Pak and local exhibitions etc.) Medium to Long term in nature.
Demonstrate effective use of TINA software, provide on job training if required
Act as a role model/coach for Sales Engineers and FSEs in terms of MTS process.
Document the activities and results pertaining to other specific assignments/projects
Communicate monthly planning and reporting of key activities to all concerned.
Ensure the proper process of lead management with in the assigned area by use of Dynamics. Also responsible for lead generation from MTM/MTAs & support to sales
Support MTMs/MTAs Pre-Sales/Post Sales Enquiries
Regular Interaction/Visits to MTM/MTAs for toolings requirements / Enquiry generation & support
Proposal / Estimation/Quotation preparation for enquiry from customer when it comes to Level1 and Level 2 Projects.
Negotiations & conversion to order as per company guidelines, securing max business share
Support for run-off as required & support to Sales for end customer projects through MTM/MTA
Relationship building with brand building by events (Open-house / Marketing material sharing - in co-ordination with Marcom)

University education in a related field preferred or related work experience.
5 + years metal cutting experience, sales / sales management role is preferred.
Bilingualism an asset, fluent English skills are a must.
Good overall knowledge of the metal cutting industry and MTMs.
Proven ability to get results within a matrix organization.
Proven ability to manage accounts & relationships to help grow the business.
Good understanding of the cluster business, internally and externally.
Strong communication/presentation skills, verbal and written with all levels of internal and customer personnel.
High flexibility and resilience.
Solid ability to get results thru others.
Excellent organizational skills and capability to identify and express needs of others.
Strong time management abilities.
Technical Design Knowledge along with fixturing concept. AutoCAD Knowledge.
UG Knowledge will be added advantage.
Machine Tool Knowledge, Coromant Products Knowledge.
Intermediate/Advanced skills with MS Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access
Strong technical, sales & planning skills are required with a proven ability to be able to work with alternative sales channels. i.e. Distributors & Machine Tool Agents
Driving licence for Car is must.
