Technical Support Specialist

Our global customers include academic, government, and biotech/pharmaceutical companies. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, customer service oriented individual to join our Service team.
Primary responsibilities include providing technical and applications support to customers and service personnel via phone, email and fax for our laboratory instrument and software products. This individual will also provide training, participate in service projects, and recommend programs to improve customer satisfaction. The ideal individual will possess: a life science and/or engineering background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience in scientific data analysis. This individual will also possess the capability to learn and understand the function of electronic and mechanical components in laboratory instruments.
Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. BS/BA or equivalent in life sciences or engineering is required.
Candidates with one or more of the following qualifications are preferred:
Three years experience in a technical support role.
Three years experience with the use and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
