The second edition of Automation ExpoSouth was inaugurated at the Chennai Trade Centre in a grand ceremony.

Chennai, March 06, 2025 – Automation ExpoSouth 2025, the second regional Automation Expo promoted by IED Communications, was inaugurated amid great fanfare at the New Exhibition Hall, Chennai Trade Centre at Nandambakkam, Chennai. The event was inaugurated in the presence of distinguished Guest of Honour Mr Simon Matthieson, Vice President & GM, EMEA Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions, Electrical Sector, EATON. Present on the occasion were Members of the Steering Committee and Board of Governors for the event, and other dignitaries from the exhibiting companies.

Automation Expo was launched in 2002 in Mumbai. The Board of Governors consists of industry leaders, end users, consultants, system integrators, and suppliers. The inaugural Automation ExpoSouth event took place in April 2023, featuring 150 exhibitors and attracting 10,000 visitors. Automation ExpoSouth 2025 will showcase over 300 exhibitors, with an expected attendance of more than 20,000 visitors.
