Dassault Systèmes concludes 20th edition of 3DEXPERIENCE Forum India

Accelerating industrial AI and virtual twins from vision to action.

Mumbai, October 13, 2026: Dassault Systèmes successfully hosted the 20th landmark edition of its flagship event, the 3DEXPERIENCE Forum India 2026, at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Centred on the theme AI-Driven Industrial Transformation: 3D UNIV+RSES From Vision to Action, the Forum brought together industry leaders, technology experts, enterprise decision-makers, and innovators to demonstrate how Industrial AI and Virtual Twin experiences are translating possibilities into real-world business value.

Opening the conference, Deepak NG, Managing Director, Dassault Systèmes India, highlighted India's position in the global industrial shift, noting that India is entering a new era of industrial growth driven by AI, advanced technologies, and the need to innovate at scale. He emphasized that the key opportunity now is to move beyond isolated AI applications and connect intelligence across the enterprise. He further highlighted how industrial data and AI come together with Virtual Companions to bring physics-based simulation and engineering excellence into the world of AI.

Building on last year's introduction of 3D UNIV+RSES, the Forum focused on solving complex enterprise challenges using AI and virtual twin technologies.

During her address on strategy and platform transformation, Elisa Prisner, EVP Strategy, Industry Marketing & Transformation at Dassault Systèmes, emphasized the shift from static representations to adaptive, learning systems. She highlighted that predicting enables optimization, optimization drives innovation, and innovation leads to industry leadership. She further noted that AI encompasses physics, science, experience, talent, culture, and innovation, with the future defined by connecting AI directly to reality.

Additionally, Olivier Sappin, CEO of CATIA at Dassault Systèmes, showcased 3D UNIV+RSES in Action, demonstrating real-world deployments of generative engineering and connected virtual ecosystems.

Highlights from the 3DEXPERIENCE Playground

The 3DEXPERIENCE Playground served as an experiential hub showcasing the complete end-to-end product development journey from design and engineering to simulation and manufacturing. This interactive exhibition seamlessly connected the Vision to Action narrative, demonstrating the transformative power of Virtual Companions assisting human experts at every stage of the lifecycle.

A major focus at the Playground was the official unveiling of the trophy for AAKRUTI 2026 (AAKRUTI Innovation Competition). Designed entirely on Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform, the trophy represents engineering precision, design excellence, and sustainable innovation.

The trophy was unveiled by Deepak NG, Managing Director, Dassault Systèmes India, and Elisa Prisner, EVP Strategy, Industry Marketing & Transformation, alongside executive leadership and competition leads.

Closing the plenary sessions, former Indian Cricket Team Captain and former Chairman of the BCCI Selection Committee Krishnamachari Srikkanth delivered an inspiring session titled The Cheeka Perspective: Playing it Fearless, connecting leadership, adaptability, and mindset to modern business transformation. Attendees also explored live demonstrations of industry solutions, generative experiences, and virtual twins at the 3DEXPERIENCE Playground.
