November 22, 2024 – Every 37 minutes, a person worldwide dies from a disease caused by contaminated drinking water. Driven by the commitment to sustainability and community impact, GF Piping Systems India, a superior water and flow solutions provider for industries and infrastructure, enabling the safe and sustainable transport of fluids, launches GF Walk for Water India on December 1, 2024.

Access to safe water is a challenge for over 2 billion people worldwide. Many communities face severe health, education, and economic setbacks due to inadequate water resources. GF Piping Systems India, supported by WaterAid India is organising the GF Walk for Water, set to take place in Ratnagiri on December 1, 2024. This event highlights the urgent need for safe and sustainable water solutions, raises awareness and funds to create lasting change.

The GF Walk for Water is not just a walk but a call to action. Participants, including GF Piping Systems India's employees, partners, and the local community, will walk to symbolically represent the long journeys many undertake to fetch water. The initiative encourages attendees to donate one day's salary, amplifying the impact of their contributions towards global water projects.
