Drive electronics from NORD Drivesystems – more than just power

NORD Drivesystems offers a comprehensive portfolio of drive electronics designed to meet diverse industrial needs. With modular frequency inverters like NORDAC PRO, LINK, FLEX, and ON, the company focuses not just on power but also on energy efficiency, operational reliability, and reduced total cost of ownership, delivering tailored drive solutions for over 100 industries.

NORDAC frequency inverters: Compatible and multi-functional

NORD drive electronics meets requirements of numerous applications and stays close to the market with further developments.

NORD Drivesystems is enhancing its drive electronics lineup with advanced safety functions and specialized applications for hygienic environments, the drive technology manufacturer announced.

The company's NORDAC frequency inverter series, a cornerstone of its drive solutions since the 1980s, will soon incorporate expanded functional safety capabilities. The NORDAC ON frequency inverter for motor mounting will add Safety Limited Speed (SLS), Safe Maximum Speed (SMS), and Safe Speed Monitor (SSM) functions alongside existing Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Stop 1 (SS1) features.

Executive Statement on Drive Innovation

"We develop drive solutions that are precisely tailored to applications and associated customer requirements," said Jörg Niermann, Head of Marketing at NORD Drivesystems. "For us, drives are more than just their power."

Integration capabilities will expand through Profisafe and FSoE interfaces, enabling both Ethernet connectivity and stand-alone operation for control cabinet installation and installation close to the motor configurations.
