Through its latest “State of Service” report, Salesforce, a leading software company, unveils that 94 per cent of service professionals in India using AI said that the technology considerably saves their time and allows them to focus more on complex tasks.
What The Report is All About?
The Salesforce report has been prepared based on the responses of more than 5,500 service professionals from 30 countries, including 300 from India, highlighting the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the sector.
According to the report, about 89 per cent of service professionals at organisations using AI acknowledged that the technology helps them minimize costs. Arun Kumar Parmeswaran, MD - Sales, Salesforce India said, “As customer expectations continue to increase, the benefits of AI are clear - increased productivity, cost reduction and improved customer experiences.".
The report further found that 93 per cent of Indian service organisations have plans to boost AI investments this year. Salesforce emphasized the top three AI applications in the country’s service sectors are automated summaries and reports, intelligent offers and recommendations, and knowledge article creation.
“AI and Data are fueling the next level of customer experience, with AI proving its value with a variety of use cases, delivering unmatched value to customers while unlocking revenue-generating opportunities,” Kumar said.
The “State of Service” report underlines the potential role of artificial intelligence and data in shaping the future of India’s customer service. It highlights the opportunities and challenges experienced by organizations in an age of digital.
