Tampa, FL (USA), June 2026 — Signode has announced the launch of the BXT Go™ strapping tool, a new battery-powered hand tool for plastic strapping, engineered in Switzerland as a cost-effective strapping solution. Designed with precise manufacturing standards for a wide range of everyday applications across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and distribution, the BXT Go strapping tool delivers consistent performance while reducing operator fatigue.

"The BXT Go strapping tool was developed to meet customers' mid-level strapping applications, complementing the BXT4 strapping tool, which is designed for a broad range of applications, including heavy-duty, high-tension use," said Nicole Ostryzniuk, Vice President of Global Tools at Signode. "Its features and lightweight design make it a practical and reliable handheld option for professionals seeking a balance between cost and productivity."

Delivers consistent performance

The tool supports both PET (polyester) and PP (polypropylene) strapping and is optimized for 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch strap sizes. Featuring auto, semi, and manual operating modes, the BXT Go strapping tool delivers efficiency with straightforward controls and an intuitive user interface.

The BXT Go strapping tool weighs 8.05 pounds, including the battery, and features optimized weight and balance for operator comfort during daily use. The tool also includes a BOSCH® 18V lithium-ion battery system capable of charging to 80% capacity in approximately 24 minutes.

The strapping solution incorporates metal and plastic components made from recycled and recyclable materials that are easily replaceable.

"As manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations continue to evaluate ways to support their sustainability objectives, there is growing demand for tools and equipment designed with product longevity and material considerations in mind," said Ostryzniuk. "The BXT Go strapping tool is ideal for customers looking for a long-term, mid-level strapping solution."
