DICV Opens Vaccination Centre for Local Community

Five vaccination booths, able to process up to 250 people/day; medical team on standby with ambulance and emergency rescue.
Chennai, May 10, 2021: Daimler India Commercial Vehicles today announced the opening of a vaccination centre at its CV manufacturing plant in Oragadam. The facility will be open from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 to 17:00. With five vaccination booths, the centre can process up to 250 people a day. The facility also has a refreshments area, a post-vaccination lounge and seating for up to 300 people.
Anyone wishing to apply for the Covid-19 vaccine should register through the Government’s Co-WIN site: www.cowin.gov.in. Registration is available to those 18 years old and above. Vaccinations at the DICV site will commence once doses are available; vaccines will be administered by private hospitals and government health personnel depending on availability.
