In line with the efforts to enhance the reader experience with information and updates about the automation sector, Industrial Automation Magazine, India’s No.1 automation industry magazine and portal, and NASSCOM Community, a technology & knowledge sharing platform under NASSCOM Research signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as “Media Partner” to collaborate and work towards supporting automation industry community in India.

The MoU seeks to leverage the capabilities of both the firms for meeting the growing requirements of the industry and deliver insightful content through respective mediums. The MoU also intends to leverage the well-developed vast experience and expertise of Industrial Automation Magazine and Nasscom collectively to strengthen as a platform to recognize new thought leaders, connect potential businesses and create a network of individuals and organization and a blend of technology, innovation and management that offers in-depth content on emerging trends and future of technology in automation and digital transformation.

Benedicta Chettiar, Director (Content & Marketing) Industrial Automation, said: “This MoU offers an opportunity for a partnership between two industry leaders with industry relevant content having insights that can help shape the future of the industry through academia, workshops to benefit the professionals, students aspiring to be a part of automation industry”.

Talking about Industrial Automation Achyuta Ghosh, Head- Research, NASSCOM said: “Industrial Automation is one of the most widely read and referred trade journal in the Indian automation industry. It caters to the Factory and Process Automation segment and they also are organizers of Asia’s 2nd largest exhibition for the automation industry. The journal drives the industrial ecosystem through great insights, interviews, thought leadership articles and the know-how of the industry".

On being asked about what kind of outcome he sees as a result of this partnership and the benefits to the huge audience associated with both brands he said: “Concepts are linked together so that when we think of industry and automation, we end up thinking about the other components and stakeholders in the industrial ecosystem. This brand collaboration would be able to benefit from the existing market of the other; Bring in more industry leaders and create a close network contributing to Industry 4.0/Industrial initiatives, drive to build a robust research framework based on inputs and interviews, brand visibility, wider outreach and build a common platform to showcase these initiatives”.
