The ISA Maharashtra section has selected Industrial Automation Magazine as “Media Partner” for Power, Petroleum and Process Automation (PPPA) MEET 2020 to be held on the 7th & 8th of February 2020 to forge a stronger working relationship. It’s designed to help deliver on the common objectives of both organizations to benefit industry as a whole with increased downtime and high productivity.

The relationship will be highlighted in future when the ISA Mahatrashtra and Industrial Automation will collaborate for future projects.

Talking about Industrial Automation Mr. Neeraj Agrawal, Chief Patron (PPPA 2020), ISA Maharashtra said “Industrial automation is an excellent platform where topical issues are discussed by industry experts. Latest developments in I & c systems and case studies are covered in various articles by eminent personalities. Articles are written in lucid way which is easily understandable by industry experts as well as students. This provides a platform where all the segments of instrumentation fraternity and current and future leaders can share their views and learn new things to enrich their knowledge”.

Asked about the kind of outcome he sees as a result of this partnership and its benefit to the industry professionals and aspiring students he replied: “ In this meet, current and future trends of automation in various verticals like power, oil and gas, fertilizers and chemicals will be discussed threadbare. Benefits of this technology and way to implement will become clear to the participants. Industrial automation has a reach all over India. By association with Industrial Automation these new concepts would also reach a wide spectrum of audience. This will benefit industry as a whole with increased downtime and high productivity.

He added further In this symposium latest topics namely Cyber Security, Fleet Management, Fire and Safety, Smart Instrumentation, Advance Instrumentation, Digital systems etc.  will be discussed so industry professionals will understand current and futuristic trends in automation. They will also learn the best practices via peer to peer interaction. They will have opportunity to network with the industry experts and decision makers. Also ample of opportunities to sharpen their leadership skills will be provided.

Talking about how ISA Maharashtra plan to contribute towards developing the skill set required for the future he said: “ISA Maharashtra conducts regular workshops and training coursed for the aspiring professionals and students. Also, the ISAM creates a platform of job opportunities for the freshers through its wide network. ISAM EC members contribute to this task by giving their time for the students for interaction with them and sharing their knowledge. ISAM arranges an annual get together of all the students sections affiliated to it where student leaders and faculty advisors come together and discuss the technical assistance required from the ISAM side and according to that the yearly plan of seminars, workshops and training is prepared and followed. In the Automation Expo, every year ISAM has a stall. The students of various colleges are given opportunities to man the stall so they get the experience of how industry works.  ISAM thus provides a platform for the students to come together and network and take advantage of the opportunities created.
