Phoenix Contact’s Contactron family of Motor & Speed starters are an ideal solution for asynchronous motors which allows a motor for forward, reverse, e-stop/STO, overload protection, soft start/ stop as well as seamless speed variation. The solution is compact among all traditional solutions in the market and gives a ten times higher life cycle than existing market solutions.
The family contains worldwide approvals and comprises all applicable IEC standards. With SIL3, Category 3, performance level ‘e’ and coordination type 2, starters can be fitted into the safety loop without adding multiple components.
