PAPERLESS RECORDER

The Paperless Recorder from ELDAC Process Automation is an advanced digital data-logging and monitoring system designed to capture, display, and store process data without the need for traditional chart paper. Built for modern industrial environments, the recorder provides accurate real-time visualization of process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and electrical signals while maintaining secure digital records for analysis and reporting.

Unlike conventional chart recorders, ELDAC’s paperless recorders use digital storage and color displays to present trend graphs, numerical data, and alarm conditions directly on the screen. For example, compact models such as the 71VR1 recorder feature a 3.5-inch TFT color display capable of showing multiple channels simultaneously in trend, bar-graph, or digital formats. These systems can record up to 8 analog inputs and 8 discrete inputs, enabling operators to monitor multiple process parameters from a single device.

The recorder supports flexible data acquisition with configurable sampling rates and communication capabilities. Field signals can be connected directly to built-in terminals or acquired remotely through Modbus RTU I/O devices, enabling integration with distributed automation systems and industrial networks. Recorded data can be exported to a PC and converted into formats such as CSV for further analysis, reporting, or integration with plant management systems.

Designed for reliability in industrial conditions, the device features a compact panel-mount structure and an IP65-rated front panel, making it suitable for installations where dust, moisture, or water splashes may be present. The elimination of chart paper and mechanical components reduces maintenance costs while providing environmentally friendly and long-term data recording.
