HIWIN’s EDM rotary table lineup – RCV E, RCH E, and RAS E – is purpose built to elevate the mechanical accuracy of EDM machines, ensuring stable, repeatable, and distortion free discharge machining.

The RCV E underwater rotary table sets a new benchmark for wire EDM. Its IP68 waterproof architecture, combined with a non contact direct drive motor, eliminates mechanical wear and prevents internal electrical leakage. A built in encoder guarantees zero backlash and precise positioning under high speed motion, supporting rotational speeds up to 1000 rpm (RCV 125E) with axial runout of ≤ 0.005 mm. This stability ensures consistent kerf width and superior edge integrity.

For die sinking applications, the RCH E C axis series delivers continuous rotation and high torque for shaping electrodes and machining deep or narrow cavities. Equipped with a compact synchronous motor and absolute encoder, RCH E maintains precise angular indexing even during demanding discharge cycles.

The RAS E dual axis rotary table offers high accuracy tilting and rotation for complex angled holes and multidirectional geometries. With ±8 arc sec positioning accuracy and ±3 arc sec repeatability, it enables reliable machining of turbine cooling holes, diffusers, and advanced EDM drilled features.
