As industrial control cabinets grow denser with sensors and networked devices, protecting every load without consuming panel space has become a design priority. The PULS PISA series of electronic circuit breakers meets this need with selective, channel by channel protection in a compact DIN rail footprint.

Unlike traditional fuses or thermal-magnetic breakers, PISA modules monitor each output channel individually, isolating a faulty branch instantly without interrupting power to the remaining channels. This keeps the system running, reduces downtime, and simplifies diagnosis via two color LED indicators on every channel.

A defining advantage is NEC Class 2 compliance. Select variants distribute load current into up to four individual NEC Class 2 circuits from one power supply, removing the need for multiple separately certified Class 2 supplies and easing UL approval for panel builders.

For higher-density applications, the PISA-B series extends this to eight output channels from a single 24 V source, handling up to 30 A total. Each channel's tripping current is individually adjustable — channels 1 and 2 support up to 12 A for high-capacitance loads, channels 3 to 8 up to 10 A each — letting engineers match protection precisely to every load instead of oversizing. NEC Class 2 version of PISA-B extends compliant distribution to eight circuits from one module.

Space efficiency remains central: with some models as narrow as 22.5 mm, PISA packs multiple protected channels into one of the smallest footprints in its class. Push-in, tool-less connectors speed up wiring, and automatic voltage detection lets select modules run on 12 V or 24 V systems.
