Reliable and Safe Connection System
Wire your photovoltaic system efficiently, safely and reliable from the panel through to the inverter – with the SUNCLIX connection system from Phoenix Contact. The new connectors of the SUNCLIX series with crimp connection technology extend the proven spring based (crimp-less) product range for photovoltaics. The 1500 V connectors are suitable for longer lifespan and ensures the Maximum Safety of the entire PV system from cross manufacturer compatibility. SUNCLIX connectors support automated processing and meet all the international standards.
Lever-actuated PCB terminal blocks and PCB connectors
LPT and LPC Series – Conductor connection in a wink: Phoenix Contact brings a new dimension of convenience to conductor connections. The consistent product family of PCB terminal blocks and PCB connectors combines the high-level ease of use of lever actuation with the reliable Push-in spring connection. With the consistent program from 1.5 to 16 mm², Phoenix Contact serves all performance classes up to more than 50 kW. Conductors with or without ferrules can be connected without tools. The clearly visible lever positions give reliable feedback on whether the clamping space is open or closed. This provides the user with a high level of safety when things have to be done quickly.
Outdoor electronic housings
OCS Series – Optimally equipped for extreme conditions: The OCS series outdoor housings from Phoenix Contact provide excellent protection for autonomous device systems.
Even in extreme environments, the large-volume housings reliably protect the electrical components inside. Valuable electronics are thus permanently and reliably protected against humidity, heat, UV radiation, and mechanical strain. Even jet water does not penetrate. The certified polycarbonate housings are lightweight and resistant. They even withstand heavy mechanical strain within a wide temperature range. The housing system is approved for numerous electronic systems by international approvals. Optimally equipped for extreme conditions, the solutions in the OCS series offer a high degree of flexibility and can be individually adapted and extended with accessories.
ECS Setries – Outdoor housings for space-critical applications: New outdoor housings with an installation depth of 80 mm extend the portfolio of the ECS series range of outdoor housings from Phoenix Contact. The smaller design allows device dimensions that are 75% more compact. It is therefore especially suitable for space-critical applications such as sensor technology applications for special vehicles. With the proven device connection technology, tailored interfaces for signals, data, and power can be realised.
The housings made of UV-stabilised polycarbonate plastic (UL 94-V0) are designed with an IP69 degree of protection and are suitable for a wide temperature range of -40°C to +100°C.
