Tapway Sdn Bhd and Asteria Corporation have introduced the AIoT Suite, a subscription-based platform combining Vision AI and no-code IoT solutions to automate tasks such as quality inspection, safety monitoring, and HSE compliance. This innovative platform enhances operational efficiency by integrating AI-driven visual inspections with IoT-triggered actions for real-time problem-solving.
Available on a subscription basis, the new AI/IoT Suite platform allows companies to automate various tasks.
Kuala Lumpur/Tokyo, December 3, 2024 – Kuala Lumpur-based Tapway Sdn Bhd, a developer of Vision AI software solutions, and Asteria Corporation from Tokyo have launched AIoT Suite, an integrated one-stop solution platform offering Tapway's SamurAI Vision AI software and Asteria's Gravio no-code IoT software. Available on a subscription basis, the new AI/IoT Suite platform allows companies to automate various tasks such as quality inspection on production lines, PPE compliance enforcement, health, safety, and environment (HSE) monitoring at warehouses, and more. Using Vision AI to capture data through cameras, the platform automates visual inspections by identifying issues in real-time. It triggers automated actions through IoT devices to ensure swift and efficient responses – all without coding. It helps alleviate labor shortages many companies face and improves their operational efficiency.
The Japanese version of the software suite was launched on November 27 in Tokyo, targeting manufacturers in Japan. Meanwhile, the English version was released in July and marketed to manufacturing companies across Southeast Asia and Japan.
Lim Chee How, CEO of Tapway, said, "Many manufacturers struggle to effectively analyse data derived from various systems and devices, and develop in-house AI models due to limited technical expertise and the high costs of maintaining dedicated monitoring staff. AIoT Suite helps them face these challenges head-on, on a single platform."
Yoichiro Hirano, President and CEO of Asteria, said, "I am thrilled to announce the launch of the Japanese version of AIoT Suite in collaboration with Tapway. With its proven success in Southeast Asia, I am confident that AIoT Suite will address countless challenges for users in the Japanese market and set a new benchmark for AI and IoT combination solutions. At Asteria, we are committed to partnering with Tapway to continuously drive innovation and unlock the value of AI and IoT with the no-code and edge computing domains."
Asteria and Tapway aim to achieve a sales target of 100 million yen for the AIoT Suite within two years, covering Japan and international markets.
The AIoT Suite lets users build AI inference models and seamlessly collect, integrate, and manage data linked to other systems and devices, including IoT.
