PEAK by HMS Networks – New Look, Proven Strengths Remain

PEAK-System Technik rebrands as PEAK by HMS Networks, aligning with HMS while retaining proven CAN and industrial ICT strengths.

PEAK becomes a product brand of the HMS family

PEAK-System Technik Officially Transitions to HMS Networks Product Brand

DARMSTADT, GERMANY, February 16, 2026 — Following its acquisition in late 2024, PEAK-System Technik GmbH has reached a new milestone in its integration with the HMS Networks Group. Starting today, PEAK officially adopts the visual identity of the HMS family, transitioning into a strategic product brand.

While the "fresh coat of paint" signifies a closer alignment with HMS, the company emphasizes that for customers and partners, the transition is seamless: products, support contacts, and core values remain unchanged.

A Unified Visual Language

The most immediate change is the visual shift from PEAK’s traditional red-and-black palette to the HMS blue-and-white aesthetic. This shift symbolizes the solid backing of a global Industrial ICT leader.

The New Logo and Identity

  • Logo Evolution: The distinctive PEAK outline remains recognizable but is now augmented with the endorsement "by HMS Networks."

  • Portfolio Synergy: PEAK now stands alongside other industry-leading HMS brands such as Anybus, Ewon, Intesis, Red Lion, N-Tron, Owasys, and Ixxat.

  • Brand Clarity: The unified look helps engineers and decision-makers navigate the complex HMS ecosystem more intuitively.

Strategic Growth: Access to Global Resources

This integration is more than cosmetic; it provides PEAK with the industrial "muscle" needed to scale its innovations in Automotive, Medical, and Industrial Communication.

Benefits for the PEAK Community

  • Global Reach: Access to the extensive HMS worldwide sales and service network.

  • R&D Depth: Integration into HMS’s global development resources and technological know-how.

  • Long-term Stability: The financial independence and stability of a publicly traded leader in industrial communication.

"PEAK remains PEAK – but now clearly visible as part of HMS Networks. ‘#1 Choice for Engineers’ remains our top priority and our central guiding principle," says Christian Adolph, Director Marketing, Business Development & Technical Support.

Product Spotlight: Ready for the Future

The PCAN-USB XL is the first major release to carry the new "PEAK by HMS Networks" branding. It represents the cutting edge of CAN XL technology, combining PEAK's pioneering hardware engineering with the future-proof reliability of the HMS Group.

FAQ.

Will my existing support contacts change?

No. All technical support, sales, and point-of-contact details for PEAK products remain exactly the same as they were prior to the visual rebranding.

Are current PEAK products compatible with other HMS brands?

Yes. HMS Networks focuses on interoperability. PEAK’s specialized communication hardware complements the networking solutions provided by brands like Anybus and Ixxat, offering a more comprehensive "full-stack" solution for industrial ICT.

Why the shift to blue and white?

These are the established corporate colors of HMS Networks. Adopting them visually aligns PEAK with the rest of the HMS portfolio, making it easier for global customers to identify PEAK as a verified HMS brand.
