Opportunities for Automation in the New World – A Webinar

Experts will talk on select topics at regular intervals, to give fresh impulses for businesses and industries today and in the future.
February 10, 2021 - IED Communications, the organiser of the well-known Automation Expo series of the annual exhibition and conference programme, has announced the third in the ‘Future Automation Ready’ webinar series on Wednesday, February 17 2020 at 3 pm to 4.30 pm.
“Staying in contact with the industry in general, and the exhibitors and visitors in particular, is always crucial, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic period with the attendant lockdown that has restricted regular industrial events and activities. Against this backdrop, we have opened up a state-of-the-art channel for meeting the industry professionals and enthusiasts with our ‘Future Automation Ready’ series of webinars,” said Ms Jyothi Joseph, Director, IED Communications.
The webinar on the theme ‘Opportunities for Automation in the New World’, would be addressed by eminent speakers Sayantan Chatterjee – Consulting Director, PwC and Sharad Joshi, Head – Digitalization Asia, BASF India Pvt Ltd. The Panelists are Shyam Warialani, Managing Director, Baumer Technologies India Pvt Ltd; Dr VP Raman, Vice President – Operations, TECTON Engineering and Construction LLC; Milan Desai Vice President, Phoenix Contact; and Jyothi Joseph, Director, IED Communications – Automation Expo 20921.
The session will focus on explaining the aspects around automation as enterprises around the globe look to digitally transform themselves. And the pace and urgency of the transformation has just been accelerated due to the pandemic that has underlined the imperative for organisations to focus on operational efficiency, sharper business outcome focus and deeper customer engagement. The intent would be join the dots between the technical concepts and some of the actual case studies of initiatives undertaken by organisations to collectively learn from them.
