ISA Maharashtra to host PPPA MEET 2020, calls for papers

The PPPA Meet 2020 will share the common knowledge about various technology advances in the power, oil & gas as well as process industry segment.
Mumbai, November 18, 2019 – ISA Maharashtra Section has announced the Power, Petroleum and Process Automation Meet 2020 (PPPA Meet 2020) with “Intelligence Simplified with Futuristic Automation” as the theme of the Symposium. This Symposium cum Exhibition will be held on 7th & 8th February, 2020 at Hotel Taj Santacruz, Mumbai.
ISA-Maharashtra (ISA-M) Section has taken this unique initiative to bring the expertise from Power, Petroleum and Process Industry segments on one common platform through this Conference cum Exhibition Event in India. The idea is to bring together all the stakeholders, i.e., the automation users, manufacturers, consultants, EPC companies and academicians, to facilitate synergy of latest information and expertise from power, petroleum and process industry domain.
“The Indian Power, Petroleum and Process industry is now undergoing modernisation, expansion and transformation especially with the emergence of the new trends in the technology digitalisation,” says Mr Neeraj Agrawal, Executive Director, NPCIL, and Chief Patron of PPPA Meet 2020. “The field of Automation and Instrumentation Technology in the process automation segment is trying to get maximum advantages out of the rapid advancements in the Information Technology and Operational Technology (IT & OT). Operators around the world are constantly seeking ways to maximise asset output while maintaining asset integrity in a cost effective manner. The same international trends are also being put to best suitable use in the Indian Electrical, Instrumentation and Control System Design,” he adds.
Eminent professionals from India's leading organisations have confirmed their attendance the list of organisations includes NPCIL, BARC, NRB, NTPC, IOCL, ONGC, GAIL, HPCL, BPCL, IFFCO, Reliance Industries, Deepak Fertilizers, among others. Various organisations from Consultants and EPC – including EIL, PDIL, UDHE TKIS, Toyo, Petrofac, Technimont, Haldor Topsoe, among others, are expected to send their delegates, along with the participation of various system integrators and solution providers like Smar, Schneider Electric, Emerson, Fuji, Vega, etc.

The papers are subject to acceptance by the High Power Technical Committee. Important dates regarding technical papers:
Submission of Abstract - 30th November, 2019;
Acceptance of papers: 22nd December, 2019;
Submission of final papers: 20th January, 2020.
