Barco Opens New Experience Center in Bengaluru

Barco Control Rooms amplifies commitment to the Indian market by opening a new Experience Center in Bengaluru.

Step into Barco's new Experience Center in Bengaluru and you can feel the company’s commitment to the Indian market. The center is the company's second in the country after Noida, and it comes with a simple invitation: come and test it yourself.

Barco’s Bengaluru Experience Center is built for government technology companies, Global Capability Centers (GCCs), IT services firms, semiconductor and aerospace organisations, and private enterprise network and security operations centers (NOCs/SOCs) across South India. Several fully equipped spaces bring visualisation and collaboration technologies together under one roof. Customers and integrators can run complete workflows, compare display technologies and design a control room around their mission.

A clear path from rear projection to LCD and LED

Barco's rear-projection cubes (RPCs) have been at the heart of mission-critical control rooms across India for many years, andthe company remains fully committed to supporting and upgrading existing RPC installations. At the same time, the market is moving to active LED platforms (especially chip-on-board or COB technology) and to bezel-less LCD video walls. These take up less floor space, are easier to install and offer wide viewing angles. Barco's specialists help customers decide when and how to transition to one of these state-of-the-art technologies, so earlier investments stay protected while control rooms get ready for the next decade.

Made for India, secured in India

The Bengaluru Experience Center is one piece of a wider investment. Barco's Make in India portfolio includes Barco UniSee 500+, Barco CTRL and the IBX-I LED platform. Combined with Infinipix, IBX-I helps secure the complete visualization ecosystem, from source to pixel. Barco India's operations are ISO 27001 and ISO 45001 certified, and Barco CTRL even carries VAPT certification from CERT-In (India's national cybersecurity agency) empanelled agencies.

Engineering talent, hired locally

Behind these products stands a growing engineering team in Noida, which remains a key hub for R&D, sales and customer support. As India is one of the main contributors to engineering talents – with 1.5 million students taking India’s main engineering entrance exam annually – Barco is actively recruiting top talents. Barco's Campus Recruitment program, launched in 2021, welcomes only computer science graduates from the top 1% of candidates, from institutes such as IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT BHU and DTU. In 2026, another large group of new hires joined Barco Noida.
