How do you see Edge Computing reshaping industrial operations in India?

Reliable networking infrastructure is becoming the backbone of intelligent operations, enabling faster decision-making, operational efficiency, and business continuity.

Edge Computing is transforming how industries process and respond to data by enabling real-time decision-making closer to the source of data generation. With the rise of IoT, automation, and AI-driven applications, industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, utilities, warehousing, and transportation require low-latency, highly reliable connectivity. Edge Computing helps improve operational efficiency, reduce bandwidth dependency, enhance cybersecurity, and support uninterrupted industrial operations, making it a key enabler for smart factories and connected industrial ecosystems in India.

What role does networking infrastructure play in enabling real-time industrial analytics?

Real-time analytics can only be successful when supported by a robust, high-performance, and highly reliable network infrastructure. Industrial environments generate enormous volumes of operational data from sensors, surveillance systems, robotics, PLCs, access control systems, and automation platforms.

The network serves as the backbone that ensures seamless data flow between machines, control systems, analytics platforms, and decision-making applications. Any interruption in connectivity can directly impact operational efficiency and productivity.

At D-Link, we focus on delivering enterprise-grade networking solutions that provide high-speed connectivity, redundancy, low latency, and secure communication for industrial deployments. Our solutions are designed to support continuous operations in demanding industrial conditions while enabling organisations to leverage data intelligently for predictive maintenance, automation, and operational optimisation.

How is D-Link contributing to the growth of smart manufacturing and

industrial digitalisation in India?

D-Link has been actively supporting India’s industrial and enterprise transformation journey by offering end-to-end networking solutions tailored for industrial environments. Our focus goes beyond connectivity – we enable scalable digital ecosystems that support automation, surveillance, centralised management, and real-time monitoring.

We work closely with manufacturing units, warehouses, transportation hubs, educational institutions, smart city projects, and critical infrastructure segments to build intelligent and future-ready networks. Our portfolio includes Industrial Ethernet Switches, Enterprise Switching Solutions, Wireless Infrastructure, Structured Cabling, Surveillance Networking, Fiber Connectivity, and Network Management Solutions.

Additionally, we understand the importance of reliability in industrial environments. Therefore, our solutions are engineered to operate efficiently in challenging conditions while ensuring network stability, business continuity, and long-term scalability.

India’s industrial sector is moving toward connected operations, and D-Link remains committed to supporting this transformation through innovation-driven networking technologies.

Industrial environments are often harsh and demanding. How does D-Link address these challenges?

Industrial deployments require networking solutions that can perform reliably under extreme environmental conditions such as temperature fluctuations, vibrations, dust, humidity, and electrical interference.

D-Link’s industrial networking portfolio is specifically designed to meet these operational challenges. Our industrial solutions offer ruggedised construction, stable connectivity, industrial-grade reliability, and enhanced durability for mission-critical applications.

Whether it is a factory floor, utility plant, transportation network, or outdoor industrial deployment, organisations need networks that can operate continuously without performance disruptions. We focus heavily on delivering resilient infrastructure that ensures operational uptime and supports uninterrupted industrial communication.

Moreover, cybersecurity and network segmentation have become increasingly important in industrial networks. D-Link solutions also help enterprises build secure network architectures capable of protecting critical industrial operations from evolving cyber threats.

D-Link offers Industrial Ethernet Switches such as the DIS-210G Series. How do these solutions support industrial applications?

The DIS-210G Series Industrial Ethernet Switches are designed specifically for industrial automation and mission-critical networking applications where reliability and stability are essential.

These switches are ideal for environments such as manufacturing plants, smart transportation systems, surveillance infrastructure, warehouses, and utility networks. The DIS-210G Series provides industrial-grade durability along with efficient data transmission capabilities required for real-time industrial communication.

One of the key advantages of industrial switches is their ability to maintain network performance even in harsh operating conditions. The DIS-210G Series is built to deliver stable connectivity, simplified deployment, and long operational life for industrial installations.

As industries continue to adopt smart automation and connected infrastructure, reliable switching solutions become increasingly important for ensuring uninterrupted communication between industrial devices, monitoring systems, and analytics platforms.

At D-Link, we continuously focus on developing industrial networking solutions that support scalability, operational efficiency, and digital transformation initiatives across industries.

What emerging trends do you foresee in industrial networking and analytics over the next few years?

The future of industrial networking will be driven by AI-powered analytics, Industrial IoT, predictive maintenance, automation, private industrial networks, and intelligent edge infrastructure.

Industries are increasingly adopting smart operational models where machines, systems, and analytics platforms work together in real time to improve productivity and reduce downtime. The demand for intelligent and self-optimising networks will continue to grow significantly.

We also foresee increased adoption of high-speed fiber infrastructure, centralised cloud-edge integration, and cybersecurity-focused industrial networking architectures. Organisations are now prioritising operational visibility and data intelligence more than ever before.

At D-Link, we believe that future-ready connectivity infrastructure will play a central role in enabling India’s industrial modernisation. Our objective is to continue empowering enterprises with scalable, secure, and innovation-driven networking solutions that support long-term industrial growth.

What is your vision for D-Link’s role in India’s industrial transformation
